I’m all over the place sometimes, but I’ve taken a brief left turn to re-engage on some ham radio stuff. I’m learning morse code (or re-learning). I’ve taken a software keyed project (K3NG keyer) and designed a PCB to support the project. This is my first board layout, so let’s see what happens on that front.
Using EagleCAD for schematic and PCB design and pcbway.com for the substrate ordering.
Kent Twin Paddle Keyer for Christmas
My wife got me a great twin paddle keyer kit for Christmas from Kent Morse Keys in Germany. The paddle set went together in under 1 hour, and I’m quite happy with it. I will have to go pick up a pair of 3mm grub screws that were missing from the kit to hold the backstops in place.
