The Restoration Continues

The 10 buildings that remained of the Beckwith Headquarters were donated to the Friends of Beckwith Ranch, Inc. in 1997. The structures and the interior of the Mansion were restored from 2000 through 2014.

Today, the interiors for the Guest House and barns are being restored. The plan is to restore the Beckwith Headquarter to its 1903 heyday. That will mean rebuilding missing structures including:

  • Edwin Beckwith’s Ranch House
  • Gazeebo and fountain
  • Water Tower
  • Calving Barn

We are currently seeking donations and grants to complete the restorations.

If you have items you would like to donate to Beckwith Ranch, all donations must first be submitted to the Inventory Acquisitions committee for approval. Please submit:

  • Picture
  • Description
  • Story
  • Restrictions - Can we sell or must we display, etc.

Photos showing property restoration goals

The Beckwith ranch circa 1907. Missing structures shown in picture includes: Water Tower, Gazeebo, fountain, Edwin’s Ranch House, and picket fence.

This picture, taken around 1903, shows the gazeebo, Edwin’s Ranch House and construction of the fountain on the left. The photographer was standing on the second floor of the water tower. On the right, the calving barn is visible behind the Bunkhouse and Workshop.

Same picture denoting the missing structures we intend on re-establishing on the property.
