Kids Day at Beckwith: Families with kids are invited

The Custer County Kids Council, West Custer County Library, and Friends of Beckwith Ranch are teaming up for a great event for kids at Beckwith Ranch. Beckwith will open up all the buildings and provide docents (in 1890 period costume) to tell interesting real-life ranching stories, answer questions, and explain the exhibits, Working with the Library, there will be lots of “hands-on” activities, Kids will be able to interact with horses and ponies and maybe even donkeys. It will be a chance for kids to learn a little about history while having fun.

3rd Annual Beckwith Roundup: (Admission $10 each/$2 kids under 12

The 3rd annual Beckwith Ranch Roundup promises fun for all and great entertainment—Ranching style: Authentic Chuck Wagon Lunch, Wagon Rides, Silent Auction, Community Booths, and of course the Beckwith Gift Shop will be open.

Beckwith Murder Mystery: Reservations required, $40 per person

In 1907 the newspaper reported that Senator Elton T. Beckwith fell out of a second floor window at his Waverly House Mansion. Do you believe that? Join us as a sleuth and decide for yourself. All of the suspects have been brought back for you to interrogate.

4th of July Parade and Open House at Beckwith

The Beckwith family will be all dressed up and riding in the parade. Afterwards you can meet them in person at the Open House at Beckwith Ranch. Tours will be given of the mansion, bunkhouse, blacksmith shop and barns.

Rockin the Ranch (Sponsored by Wet Mountain Valley Rotary)

The Wet Mountain Valley Rotary Club is bringing back “Rockin the Ranch”. This great fundraiser for Rotary will once again have top bands live, food trucks, and beverages. Plus the Beckwith Ranch will be open for tours and the Beckwith Gift Shop will also be open. Beckwith Ranch will also be selling Root Beer floats!

Holiday Gift Show

Mark your calendar for Friday November 1st, 10 to 4 and Saturday November 2nd, 11 to 4 for the annual Beckwith Ranch Holiday Gift Show. Artisans, authors, artists, and boutiques will be selling wonderful Christmas gift items to help you wrap up your Christmas shopping early. The event has become so popular that we have expanded to include the bunkhouse this year.
